SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed with regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area each day. The sassa status provider place produced for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
